There was only one game in the division tonight, with the Philadelphia Flyers visiting the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden. One would think it would be close after their last matchup needed overtime to decide. My brief analysis of the game below.

FLYERS @ RANGERS
This game was great for one team, and not for the other. The Rangers were looking for a big effort offensively, after losing some close games recently. The Flyers also needed the points, after falling down the standings with their latest performances. The Rangers skated to a 9-0 win, and yes you read that correctly. 9-0. The Flyers have had a major goaltending drop off this season, as Carter Hart has not been nearly what he was last year. Brian Elliot is playing better than Hart, but still not nearly good enough. New York is looking for some momentum to get them up the standings, and may have found it with this win tonight at home.
Scoring:
Flyers: No Goals.
Rangers: Branden Lemieux (2), Artemi Panarin (7), Pavel Buchnevich (9,10), Jacob Trouba (1), Mika Zibenjad (4-SHG), (5-PPG), (6-Hattrick Goal), Filip Chytil (4).
