CAPITALS @ BRUINS

There were supposed to be three games in action last night, but because of the covid adjustment of the schedule, there was only one tilt. The game was another between Washington and Boston, which featured another bad hit by Caps forward Tom Wilson. The winger jumped at Bruins' Charlie Coyle and hit him in the head, which resulted in a 5-minute major penalty against the Caps, and two Boston goals on that power play. As for Wilson, the league needs to do something about him and should give him a VERY lengthy suspension because of it. The Bruins got the victory 5-1, because of Wilson and his reckless play costing his team the game.

Scoring:

1st Period: Washington: No Goals. Bruins: Brad Marchand (11, ES).

2nd Period: Washington: No Goals. Bruins: Trent Fredric (3, PPG), Patrice Bergeron (9, PPG), Brad Marchand (12, ES).

3rd Period: Washington: Jakub Vrana (8, ES). Bruins: Nick Ritchie (8, ES).
